Damp conditions were predicted to continue along much of Queensland's east this next several days as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the shoreline.
Tuesday was predicted as the wettest day, with ongoing thunderstorm potential expected across multiple regions of both states.

Health officials cautioned that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the current weather patterns.
